9.0 Earthquake hits Japan - show your Love!
This is an appeal to show your support and donate to the people in Japan who have been hit on 11-3-11 by a devastating earthquake with a magnitude of 9.0 on the richter scale, a deadly tsunami wiping out cities in the north and a nuclear crisis in Fukushima.
MLOVE started a drive to raise money for the victims of the Japan tragedy and our first goal is to donate $9.000 from the mobile community that we serve.

We are inspired by the quick efforts of the SXSW cares initiative www.sxsw4japan.org in Austin that started on the same day the earthquake hit Japan. Speaking to some Japanese people at the show, MLOVE learned from the fear and personal experiences, where one team was experiencing the earthquake on Narita airport and had to wait 10 hours to get out to Austin.
Please help to make a donation - small or large !
We will keep the campaign running until the MLOVE ConFestival starting June 29 but hope to reach our initial goal of $9.000 much earlier with your help.
The amount spend will be used for relief efforts that help rebuild urgent needs. We favor the Red cross efforts but we will try to find an even more local approach to our help and we will work together with Kei Shimada of infinita. Inc. in Tokyo - our MLOVE alumni and MLOVE ambassador to Japan - to select the most appropriate organization that is working locally in Japan.
